SHE night out! 11/14/2014

S.H.E had a girls night out in Santana row. We dined like fancy ones at an Italian restaurant fully fit in our black and gold-the theme of the night-table for 15. Before this glamour, we drove about two and a half hours in traffic ! πŸ˜„πŸ™ˆ the best.. I know, everyone loves traffic. But getting there finally and transitioning from tense (I was driving) to breathing it was quite worth it.

We arrived about 20 mins before our dinner reservation so in this extra time I shot each girl two times… With my Canon t4i (that’s a camera everyone…πŸ™Š) I wanted to spring this upon them to break open comfort zones. (Comfort zones don’t allow living) anyway I positioned each one in front of this blue door and had them smile with their teeth.. (No weak smiles hereπŸ’ͺ) and watched a couple squirm in front of the camera but it’s only a stepping stone to being comfortable in their own skin. πŸ˜‰ They each took it like champs and didn’t complain. πŸ“·

After dinner was over, we split up into three groups and went on a hunt for the most random unique thing we could find for however many dollars we had in our pockets combined. The team that had the most unique thing won a prize.. The items of randomness were: a Jewish guy calendar from urban outfitters- complete calendar year with each month being sponsored by a different Jewish guy and his paragraph of which would most likely appear on an “about me” section on eharmony. Next, was a book of letters to myself- a book that had a fold out blank page to where the owner would write a prompted letter to his or herself. And lastly, a frog to place in the water for 72hrs in hopes the packaging wasn’t lying when it said,” grow a prince in 72hrs!” Random enough right? We took it to a vote and the calendar won. πŸ˜‚

It had become significantly colder outside by this time, so hot cocoa and dessert had to come rescue us. πŸ˜‹

We parted our ways, walked the cold mile back to our cars with happy warm tummies and smiles on. It was definitely a successful first S.H.E GNO (girls night out) I can’t wait for the next one.

Bonding with girls is so powerful! Especially in this day, where they’re constantly in competition with one another or backstabbing each other. This night was a dream come true for me and I’m forever grateful. 😊

Loving you,
Tanisha Poni πŸ’œ
