Don’t speak

2014 is almost over.. Crazy!

I’ve been reflecting (I know it sounds clichΓ© this time of year but I really have ha) looking at old photos and remembering everything I did this year.

I traveled: honeymoon in Hawaii, 2nd honeymoon in Disneyland, mission trip to Barcelona, vacation from mission trip to Disneyland. (Yes, I love Disneyland)

I endured: losing my job, first year of marriage (transitions can be tough at times), first time leading a team in Spain, staying without a job and learning to be ok in the season Papa had me in.

I seen a dream come to life: this ministry and blog πŸ‘‰ S.H.E (has been on the dream list since I was 18)

I had FUN: growing, learning, adjusting, adventuring, &
LIVING.

Sorry for giving you a run down on my year, I just wanted to get your desire stirring to think back on yours.

Certainly I went through some tough times, but I choose to remember the GOOD that came out of them. πŸ˜‰

Ok now that you’re finished reflecting, lets graze the arrival of 2015..

It’s 3 days away! 😱

We see all these “new year, new me” memes and the “resolution list” posts , etc, etc.
All surrounding the common factor πŸ‘‰ transformation.

That’s a great thing to desire of course but with action behind it.

Every year it comes up… And then sadly, every new year it fades.

The dreams we dream up, the list of things we want to do, the number of pounds we want to lose, the characteristic we want to start walking out..

It all sounds good right? We get it out of our mind and release it with our mouth and think.. “Yes!

And slowly but surely MAJORITY of us lose the echo of our spoken word and ultimately motivation to see these declarations come to life.

So let’s stop SPEAKING about it.

Let’s LIVE.

As women we have the supernatural ability to talk anyone’s ear off. A percentage of the time we are repeating ourselves, but the huge chunk is us just having lots of things to say. (πŸ˜„)

So for us it’s easy to speak such beautifully-wrapped with intention-words. But let’s be quiet for once about all that in 2015 and let’s shock the world by action.

Let’s take the plunge into the highlighted dream for this upcoming year and make time to hear the plan for it to awaken!

Let’s just get healthy without having to tell the world that we are doing so.

Let’s embrace growing. Letting go of the thought of losing ourselves and get excited about the truth in actually discovering ourselves.

Let’s cross those things off our “2015 things to do” list in documentation making the world excited to see what’s next.

Isn’t that surge of energy that provokes action brewing now?!

Heroines we are capable. We were wonderfully created. We scare the naysayers more than they intimidate us. We were born for this. We were hand chosen to live in these times. So let’s LIVE THE GREATNESS OUT OF IT!

Don’t speak. Do.
S H I N E.

Be a living declaration of what you want your 2015 to look like. πŸ’ͺ

Papa, I thank you for being with us in our 2014. For being faithful, for loving us through the hard times, the stretching points and the amazing ones. As this new year approaches I pray we wouldn’t be inwardly consumed with working on ourselves, but consumed with you and the plans you have for us. I pray we would gain all the transformation you laid out for us to receive in 2015. I just thank you for choosing us for such a time as this, to be a representative of your kingdom, your name, and your son. This year we will go for it. This year we will put hands and feet to our declarations and bring even more glory to you Papa. You’re so worthy of our lives. Help us remember why we get up in the morning and whisper our assignments for the day. 2015 will be the year our words become life. Thank you papa! In Jesus name, amen.

Happy early new year beautiful, it’s going to be JAW DROPPING!

Loving you,
Tanisha Poni πŸ’œ

Forget me not

Not one time have you been forgotten.
Never has He passed you by.Β
He sees you.Β
He knows you.Β

I’m referring to Papa (God) obviously when I say “He” because He is the only one these truths can apply to.Β

I feel like today someone needs to know this.. So I’m choosing to use my blog platform to be able to say that He hasn’t left.Β
He is not paying more attention to someone else over you.Β

In His word it says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands..” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭49‬:‭15-16‬)Β

“I will NOT forget you!”Β

You my dear, are still seen.Β
You are still heard.Β
You are still known.Β
You are still HIS.Β

If you’re dealing with shame because of something you did or didn’t do, get rid of it! Shame will block your ability to accept His unfailing love and these promises for you.Β

It may seem like you’ve been abandoned by all the left and right happenings that’ve popped up recently, but don’t allow yourself to begin to walk by sight.. Walk by faith!Β

He hasn’t abandoned you!Β

“..For the Lord your God goes with you; He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)Β
Forsake- abandon, leave behind, let alone, neglect, desert.Β

He will not leave you nor forsake you.Β

He promised this a long time ago.. And still His promise holds true.Β
So tell your feelings of abandonment and feeling forgotten the truth of these promises and be free!Β

How could He ever forget you?Β
You’re the only you in His world..He WANTS you. The apple of His eye..Β

Cry out to Him if it’s hard. He will weep with you.Β

I’ve been in a season where I didn’t “feel” Him or “hear” Him at all. But because of these truths, I knew He was there. I didn’t doubt that once. Was it uncomfortable? Sometimes, but I filled my spirit up with the promise that He’s been with me all along, and He will forever and always be right here.Β

Breathe beautiful. Papa has you in His hands.. I keep hearing Him say,Β “You’re safe here with me..”Β

You CAN trust this. You can trust Him. Hold on lovely, this story isn’t over yet.Β

Papa I thank you for never forgetting us. The ones you so willingly sacrificed for, just so we would KNOW these truths and your love for us. You knew what you were getting into.. You knew we would one day deal with the thoughts of abandonment and question our faith and still you chose to do it. Thank you Papa! For trusting the greatness within us to grasp it. Although this side of heaven we may not fully get it all, I thank you for what we do get and what we will continue to receive until we meet you in our forever home. You’re everything. Thank you for never leaving.. I love you. In Jesus name, Amen.Β

Loving you,Β

Comfort shmomfort

Comfort zones are comfortable. I know, it’s super profound right?

Why do we like them? Oh, cause they’re comfy. Most of the time, we women prefer the comfier things in life…such as: the type of mattress we sleep in, comfort foods (mmmmπŸ˜‹), our desire to not wear the heinous bra (but because of not wanting to let it all hangout we keep it on for the majority of our dayπŸ™ˆ), or simply the love of lounge around clothes because in reality, being all dolled up hurts sometimes.

We are ABOUT that comfortable life.

But, a life lived comfortably, is no life at all. (I’m not sure if I just made that quote up myself or if I read it somewhere..hmm oh well, it’s good!πŸ˜„)

The zone full of cushion, safety nets, and all the other reinforcements is of course unexposed to danger. Ultimately making life a piece of cake.

Where’s the risk? Where’s the FAITH? The trust we so claim to have in our Creator to be everything He said He’d be for us? It’s not there as long as comfort is.

Comfort is fear’s offspring.

The reason we stay there is because we are afraid to become “unprotected”, afraid to fall, afraid to get more responsibility (let’s keep it real), afraid the outside is really every bad scenario we have thought up, etc.

As women we tend to want the guarantee. Of course we want to “fly free”, but with the guarantee that we will actually stay in the air.

Well ladies, I have GREAT news for you… There IS a guarantee that should you decide to break out of that comfort zone… You will NOT die, but LIVE. You will NOT fall, you will RISE. You will NOT fail, you will PROSPER!

You: “No way?!”
Me: “WAY.” πŸ‘‡

Psalm 118:17, “I will not die but live, and proclaim what The Lord has done.”

Psalm 37:24, “Though (s)he may stumble, (s)he will not fall, for The Lord upholds (her) with His hand.”

Psalm 46:5, “God is within HER, she will NOT fall.

Three outstanding Psalms that straight up destroy comfort zones. You’re welcome. πŸ˜‰

You have the guarantee beautiful, so get rid of your parachute…keep your eyes open… Get that running start and SOAR off that ugly cliff of comfortsville and see what living really feels like.

Whatever you just got provoked to jump into -I’m praying it’s something along the lines of: truly trusting Papa, or risking it all to experience everything you’ve wanted to experience with Him by saying “YES” to Him…and not diving into a relationship lol this ain’t about no boys! πŸ™…- be all in. No plan B.

Heroines don’t react to the subtle, sweet, yet deceitful sounds of comfort.. They respond to the roar within them, “FLY!”

It’s your turn Ms. Brave… Live out your name. πŸ’ͺ

Papa, I pray every comfort zone gets demolished right now in the name of Jesus! That your peace would overtake the negative “what if” thoughts and your love would drive out fear. I pray the gold found in the psalm scriptures would shine bright in our spiritual vision so much so that it excites our natural one. Living with no plan b because we know you, is the best life ever. In the times of transition or trial in which comfort advertises itself as “fulfilling”, let your word and these ring aloud to remind us you have it all, beginning and end in your hand. You’re the greatest Papa, thank you for all you are for us, with us, and in us. In Jesus name, Amen.

Loving you,

Smiling’s my favorite

I’m sorta sad Thanksgiving came and left too soon..all that food made me have to unbutton my pants to breathe! (I’m serious girls, I think I gained about ten pounds but goodness those candied yams were worth it!! πŸ˜‹) BUT now it’s onto CHRISTMAS! 😍

I have no idea why it can’t be all holly jolly every other season but there’s just something about this time of year that really puts the sparkle in our eyes. ✨

Anyway, one of my favorite things to do during this time is watch Christmas movies! Ugh I’m a sucker for them. I’ll watch em all. One that gets played often is ELF with Will Farrell. (He nailed it by the way. Greatest elf ever. I’ll watch it a hundred thousand times I don’t care it’ll still be awesome)

I just like to smile, smiling’s my favorite!” -Buddy the Elf
This quote has become part of my speech because well, it truly does provoke a smile. And It also reminds me how powerful it is to do so.

Smile. πŸ˜ƒ

Ok now.. Smile BIG. 😁

Your smile is powerful!

I realize I have mentioned the power in laughing before in my post “she laughs” but it’s so important to smile as well.

It even talks about it in:
Proverbs 15:13 “A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.”

And

Proverbs 15:30 “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.”

A cheerful face or look = the presence of a smile. πŸ˜ƒ

It’s funny because in the first verse it mentions that it starts from the inside first (a happy heart) and then produces the outside (cheerful face)

Then the second verse uses the reverse of it (outside effecting the inside)

So regardless which comes first that smile provokes your insides to be joyful! (Joyful insides I’m sure keep the doctor away.. Proverbs 17:22)

Ok wrapping it up…
My prescription for you:

β€’Take a smile break at least ten times a day.

β€’Make a list of things that bring that smile out.. And post pictures of those things up around you.. Or however you want to do it.

It may seem like the clichΓ© post about being “happy go lucky” and you’re probably like “Whoop dee doo Tanisha this isn’t a big profound deal” (Seriously if you said that Im sad. Jk. πŸ˜„) but honestly we need it still. Daily.. (If we didn’t we’d all look like buddy the elf.)

Especially this time of year even though there’s Merriness galore, comparison tries to leak in and be a kill joy-Causing you to not smile where you’re at or with what you currently have-(But not on my watch!πŸ˜‰)

Now then beauty, keep your heart young with joy-put that smile on. You never know who’s going to be around who may need it more than you. 😊

Challenge: Give a smile to someone new every day as a countdown to the new year.. And don’t worry about the outcome.. Just do it to do it. Because smiling’s your favorite. 😁

Papa I pray you would bring the smiles out. The big smiles. The full teeth showing smiles. The bonafide, non forced smiles to release heaven into our daily tasks; and to create breakthrough in our own lives. Thank you for creating the smile, such a universal sign of happiness and ultimately love. Most of all thank you for your smile that permanently radiates over us. Love you Papa, in Jesus name Amen!

Loving you,
Tanisha Poni πŸ’œ

Ps. Don’t be giving that FLIRTY smile out girl.. Don’t get cray-hay-hayzyy!πŸ’

Pss. Your smile is BEAUTIFUL. I don’t care if someone told you any different. They lied. So chuck that out and smile sweetie. 😘

Happily ever before

I just celebrated my first year anniversary with my husband yesterday (thank you, thank you😊) and during the celebration this blog topic hit me.

I was happy before I got married.
I had already been living in my fairytale before my vow exchange..

You see, before I said “Yes” to Joe (my husband), I said “Yes” to Jesus first. Yes to His unearned gift of LIFE and Yes ultimately to His love.

I never knew Joy, love, hope, peace, courage, strength, humility, confidence, romance, purpose, patience, etc.. Until Jesus.

Trust me ladies I’m not being “Corny Christian” this is the absolute truth in the best way I could describe it..

When you meet someone, initially your reaction is to get to know them right? Right. And then having gotten to know them you desire time, and more time. So you two spend time together. During that time you grow closer in intimacy-heart wise-and then a vulnerable moment arises.. An area he wasn’t allowed to see before but because of growing trust you gave him access.. And it only strengthened your relationship because he has now seen deeper into you. He then reveals a part of himself that you’ve never experienced and it’s so good that you realize you’re in love with him. Love. You’re discovering the ins and outs of one another and finally you decide to surrender your heart to him. Fully committing yourself to a lifetime of faithful, never shaken love. ::Cues bridal entrance music::

That’s EXACTLY how it went with Jesus.
I spent time with Him. Grew closer to Him. Got vulnerable with Him. Found myself in love with Him. Then made the commitment to never look back. To never leave Him. My whole heart was and still is His.

He presented creation around me in ways I never seen before like the butterfly kisses I blogged about previously.. This love story-Jesus loving me-was my fairytale. A TRUE fairytale.

Some of you may be uncomfortable reading this. Some may feel like I am being the corny Christian but that’s just something you’re going to have to get over because this is REAL LOVE.

LOVE always had a face before your “first love” in school, (or wherever you met him..) Before he was even born or thought of, Love had Jesus’ face. And He ALWAYS loved you.

Everything you’ve ever dreamed up in romance was first dreamed up by Him. (Yes.. Even that.)

I grabbed ahold of all this in my single season and held on tight to it. I dove deep. My single season wasn’t dreadful. It was amazing. Because of this, I allowed a LOT of growth to occur then; which has truly done wonders for my marriage. Had this not happened, I’m sure we would be working on a lot more independent issues than being able to focus on US as one.

So yes your “HAPPILY EVER..” starts now. If your mindset isn’t there, do everything you can to get it going. To be able to live happily ever before AND after is a definite blessing.

I’m going to give you a list of things I did in my single season to help jump start you in how to go about it:

I stayed away from romance movies. (You groan now but trust me it helps protect your mind from building up fantasies or expectations that are just not reality. Plus it only came with a stronger lonely feeling than it would without watching these. I LOVE love and romance so it was definitely something I had to grow strength in but it paid off.)

I also protected my ears from what songs I was listening to. (Ok I realize this is starting to look like a bunch of “don’ts” but I’ll get to the “do’s” after.- love songs also build up fantasies.. I mean come on falling in love at a coffee shop?? Sure it’s dreamy but unless your life is really REALLY out there it just doesn’t happen. I wasn’t a stickler about this I would know what I could handle and what I couldn’t and I would switch the song if I started to feel anything outside of secure in my singleness.-I really did like that song though hah-)

I put my phone away.. Deleted numbers that could be tempting. (Girl, you know you can’t use the excuse of, “I just don’t like unknown numbers and need to know who’s calling or texting so I can know what to answer or not..” URT! If you don’t like unknown numbers that’s even better! You won’t answer it anyway. Old flings or boyfriends creepin up even old thoughts of “good” moments can puppet your thumbs into sending the text or call that could be destructive. The mess is too messy to chance it. Trust me again.)

– I filled my spirit up with romance from The Word. (Here comes the “do’s.. Read Song of Solomon- all of it- and have fun dissecting it. I’m sure it’ll last as long as your single season because I’m still dissecting it in my marriage haha! But it truly helped me when I needed to be reassured in my beauty or felt the need for attention.. And this is the reassurance/attention that has no repercussion-it’s perfect.)

– I got my alone time in with Papa. (Enough said. Get with Him, the encounters you have are gold alone. The visions you see, the words of affirmation you hear.. Goodness it’s that good GOOD. Most definitely.)

I made sure my self talk was healthy and encouraging. (There’s power in a woman who radiates confidence and loves herself as she is. Obviously, as women it’s hard to get to a place such as this with the media all around; so I also didn’t look at magazines or was quick to look the other way with posters of altered beauty,etc-I still do this- but building consistency and faith in it gets you far.)

I started discovering ME. My likes, dislikes, things that made me come alive, passions, desires, dreams, wants..etc. (ladies…let’s be honest, men don’t know what women want because majority of the time WE don’t even know what we want! Hah. If we spent time discovering it instead of expecting a man to we would all be happier πŸ˜„)

I held onto my hope but I didn’t keep this particular hope my main screen. (Hope is GREAT to have. It’s powerful. But to constantly have the hope of having a significant other or a husband in my view, would’ve ruined my season so much so that I would’ve been paying more attention to the thoughts that hope now came with, and lost sight of building my NOW happily ever. Focusing on the “future hope” more than your “now hope” can be fatal-might cause you to have a desire to skip seasons- Have hope, just don’t let it become your main focus now.)

Phew! That was a mouthful wasn’t it?! Ok now that I can breathe again, I hope these helped you and encouraged you instead of provoking more groans. I honestly did all these. Some I still do in my marriage, but it so helped my perspective and joy in being single.

There were other things I did or didn’t do, but I think it was molded to myself personally.. So ask Papa for help in what to do or not do. The best thing you can be is willing, (only to Jesus in this time hah) to get rid of what you should get rid of to propel you into the woman you WANT to be before marriage, before a man period. Because last time I checked, God and God alone validated my greatness, my beauty, my success, etc. My husband would be a hot mess if I expected him to do that for me. It just isn’t his job.

Ok let’s pray,

Papa, thank you thank you thank you for single seasons. Thank you for every treasure and promise that is to be found along the process of it and for being who these beauties need you to be in this time. I pray that they would be sparked with joy even now, that their perspectives would shift, so their realities can be enjoyable now. I pray they would protect their hearts, eyes, ears and minds. Thank you for loving us more than we will ever be able to comprehend this side of heaven. I also pray you would sway with them in the best dance of their life right now. So they know how to dance in their future marriages. πŸ˜‰ you’re such a great Papa, thank you. In Jesus name, amen.

I believe in you. I know it’s possible. So get excited! Happily ever before starts today 😊

The wish your heart makes

My fellow Disney lovers knew what the title meant, but for those who don’t.. Here it is:

🎢”A DREAM is a wish your heart makes…”🎢
-Cinderella

(I don’t know what it is with the Disney inspiration lately, but just go with it..)

Have you ever spent longer than a daydream dreaming up your dream? Have you ever had the courage to Dream out loud?
Sometimes when we get a little inkling of something awesome stirring up in our imagination.. We let ourselves think, “Eh.. It’s only my imagination.. It wouldn’t be like that.. It probably won’t even happen..” Etc.

And then there goes our dream, floating away for someone else to reach out and grab it.. That’s sad. But don’t worry cause, ‘You gon learn today’ (πŸ˜„)

Story time:
When I was little my imagination was impeccable..thanks to my grandpa. He would push the envelope with me so much so that I had imaginary pets at one point.. (I won’t get into the horrid details of their tragic death, but if you want to know ask me when you see me..) I seen those pets.. I fed and played with those pets.. They even had names! Hah, why am I telling you this? Because it was my little young heart’s dream to have a “kitty cat”, But I didn’t. So my grandpa taught me such a valuable lesson on how to envision something that wasn’t there, as though it was.. And then out of that vision (my imaginary pets that I kept feeding..) the miraculous manifestation happened… I got a REAL “kitty cat” !!! 😍

I imagined my heart’s desire,
I dreamt OUT LOUD,
And then I seen it come to life.

Lesson #1:
Your imagination is the best incubator for dreaming.

Our imagination has to be boundless.. To be completely childlike in this area, is GOLD to our dreams. Nothing was impossible when we were little princesses, and today that truth hasn’t changed… Our imaginations did.

All those boarders that block off certain areas your imagination could go.. I command them to vanish NOW in Jesus’ name!
(Oh you’re welcome πŸ˜‰)

One of my aspirations in life is to have daily lived out this next favorite quote of mine, “Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Get your imaginative juices flowing.. Do imagination workouts.. See the lava on the ground again and don’t you dare slip off that cliff of a couch cushion..

Lesson #2:

Dream out LOUD.

Not only did I see the imaginary pets, but I called them by name, told my grandpa who was who (there were 6) and proceeded to walk out what I was seeing..taking care of them (action), etc.

Last Friday I noticed I did something similar…
It was our first S.H.E night out; (’twas totally fun I will make a S.H.E moments post on it later.)
During the night, I wanted to take pictures with each of the girls that showed up and my reasoning was this, “WHEN S.H.E gets big, I’m going to put these pictures on the archive wall of being the original girls who were there when it started..” I dreamt out loud. Not only did I hear me, but everyone around heard me.. And you just read it. This hasn’t come to life yet, but I’m not afraid to dream it. I’m not afraid to allow my imagination to go there.

Allow yourself to say it out loud for everyone to hear. Speak it. Write it. Pray it. Sing it. Live it. (Sing it is just for kicks and giggles but whatever works! πŸ˜„)

Lesson #3:

Be amazed and grateful watching your dream come alive.

When that kitty cat was brought into the room, I felt like I was floating. I had so much excitement in my little body I didn’t know what to say, but I remember hugs were given and I was just beside myself because of my first ever dream becoming reality.

If it hasn’t happened for you YET, be excited in your dreaming out loud season.. It’ll come.

My “little” dream of having a cat doesn’t have to make sense to you or anyone else.. It was my dream. So when you’re getting stirred up.. Dream for YOU, don’t dream to make sense to everyone else. Dream period. NOTHING is exempt.. Dream it ALL.

Let’s make things official,
Jeremiah 32:27 says, β€œI am the LORD, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” Nope.

So my beautiful dreamers, what’s it going to be?

I’ll leave you with a challenge:
Write down 50 dreams. They don’t have to all pertain to what you want to become, just get those dream engines revving. (Trust me 50 isn’t anything, you’ll write more as you gain momentum πŸ˜‰)

🎢 “… If you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish, WILL come true..” 🎢 😊

Loving you,
Tanisha Poni πŸ’œ

It doesn’t hurt to ask

You know what’s funny..we roam around in our daily lives with certain areas where there’s trouble and struggle or maybe just a random want we have and we just continue to DEAL with it.

We pray about the big things like “thank you for today” and “I pray so and so gets healed” or “please protect my children” ..

All the other billion things that happen during our 24hrs (or wants) that pop up, go without mention because something tells us, “It’s not big enough to take to God” or “He has too many other things to take care of, why would He want to waste His time on that” πŸ˜‘

The whole “God is good, all the time” statement may have been used a lot to where it can come off like another famous saying, but it is TRUE!

He is a GOOD Papa! He cares about you!

Let’s use “reality” for a second to drill this in..
How would it look if my father told me when I was little, “Mija, I love you very much.. But don’t come asking me for anything that isn’t an emergency need, or tell me about things unless you’re bleeding. Even then, put your own bandaid on it. I just don’t like to be bothered with your stuff, I have so much more to be worried about. Mmkay?

Uhh…it would look like a CPS case!

My father isn’t like that thank God, but I do know some of us haven’t had the opportunity to have a great dad. And maybe he didn’t do things you needed him to or he said things like that above.. And I’m sorry for that. I’m sorry you felt like you weren’t worthy enough of time or attention.
Honey, sometimes our daddies grow up with the same stuff missing as you did.. Because his own father didn’t give it to him. It’s like: if you needed five dollars, and I didn’t have five dollars, I couldn’t give you five dollars on account that I don’t have it. (Get it?)

It’s like that with our daddies (mommies too) they probably weren’t able to give you those certain things you needed (patience, hugs, words of encouragement, nurturing when we got boo-boos, etc.) because they didn’t receive it when they were little.. They simply don’t know how. πŸ˜•

The good news in all this is.. Our Heavenly Papa is NOT like that. Nor would He have ever said that too me. He isn’t neglecting, too busy, or unloving. You can’t even think about your good dad and times that by a billion to think that’s what Papa is like because He’s out of this world! Completely within His own category.. He loves differently!

Not only does He love you, He LIKES you too! That would hint to the fact that He also likes your voice.. Audible or not.. You’re ALWAYS on His radar.. And no one could ever flick you off it. πŸ˜‰

I’m just saying, you don’t have to silence yourself in prayer and only talk about the “bigger” more “important” things in your life that you’d rather “bother the Lord” with.. He wants to give you the desires of your heart! (Yes..every one..andddd you never bother Him!)

For example:
The hard working wife/mother who labors long hours in the day to take care of her household and her family.. You go ahead.. And pray for those shoes girl! It’s not too little or too shallow to ask for.. You want them? Ask Papa for the money! You DESERVE it.

Nothing is too little.. He cares about every part of you. Because He delights in your existence-Psalm 37:23 (NLT)-Period.

(Of course not every desire is material,
But every desire IS worth communicating to Him..)

In Matthew 7:7 it says, β€œAsk, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
It didn’t say, “Ask for only the important urgencies in your life, and it will be given to you…”

It just said, “ASK

Remember:
Wants are not needs. He isn’t limited or surviving paycheck to paycheck.. He is ABUNDANCE. Needs of course should be communicated, but your WANTS are important to Him too.

So what do you want?
What. do. you. W A N T?
(Sky is not the limit..to a limitless God)

Shush the discouraging thoughts trying to cover your mouth and just Ask. And have faith that He will give it to you. 😊

Papa I thank you for just how Great you are.. The fullness of your spirit and your generous heart. You loved us so much you GAVE.. I pray we would be more aware of that part of you and not to be timid in asking you for the things us as women desire.. Teach us how to pray and ask like a DAUGHTER.. Knowing you’re such a good good Papa. In Jesus Name, amen.

Loving you,
Tanisha Poni πŸ’œ
